Geroskipou Residence is a five-apartment building in Paphos, designed by GK Architects around a formal argument that runs through every decision: the dialogue between curves and straight lines. The rounded balcony edges wrap each level continuously, giving the building its identity from the street while keeping the floor plates precise and rational behind the facade. The result reads as fluid without being arbitrary.

The building holds five apartments — three units with three bedrooms and two smaller two-bedroom units — sized and arranged to preserve privacy between neighbors without sacrificing openness to the outside. Semi-outdoor spaces extend each apartment beyond its interior boundary, keeping natural light and ventilation as active participants in the design rather than afterthoughts. At the rear, a communal garden gives residents a shared outdoor space that belongs to the building without being attached to any single unit.
Inside, the same restraint that governs the facade continues through the finishes and spatial proportions. Large openings carry the quality of Cypriot light deep into the plan, and the transition between interior and terrace happens without resistance. IDAA developed both exterior and interior visualization for this project, working to capture the particular atmosphere of a building that prioritizes everyday comfort as much as architectural precision a quality that renders have to earn, not assume.
